I put a quick video together in hopes that others are inspired to support - or even start - a project that is for a good cause, My friend, Cameron Knight, has been selling these wreaths/decorations and giving all the money raised to help homelessness in Baltimore and Harford County. go.rallyup.com/wreathes4-homeless
In middle school, I would feed the hungry with my church and we often raised money for hungry children. When my sister and I were in High School, we donated all of our Christmas gift money to a child that our French class was sponsoring. Once college struck and money was tight I helped pick up trash at a local elementary school. What's my point? There are so many different ways to help and so many people who needhelp. It also feels good to help - I'm not going to lie. What's your favorite way to volunteer/donate?

I recently traveled to York, PA to work on a creative look book project with the vintage boutique: Revolt Style Studio. It was an early and surprisingly chilly morning, but that didn't stop us from dancing in the streets and pushing models around in shopping carts. It brought me back to getting dressed up and shooting music videos with my sisters. Such a blast!
This project was very different from my other story/interview driven videos. Major kudos to Jess (owner of Revolt Style Studio) for using video in a creative way for her business. It's a powerful tool! Lots of ideas are brewing for the next time. Enjoy! |
